About us
Raila Knuuttila is a Finnish artist who´s work is based in studies of environmental art (Fine Arts). In addition to this she has studied butoh dance with different teachers and new dance and somatic technics in pedagogical education. Movement, sound and visual arts connect strongly in her work, in which she takes the possibility to live and comment things that have no form in other areas of life. The medium is chosen according to the nature of the work of art.She has participated in various exhibitions and performances during years 1999-2008 in Finland, Russia, Estonia, Lithuania, Denmark and Spain. As a dancer she has worked with Mörk-Dans company (Denmark) and with various groups in Finland.
Teemu Takatalo
Teemu Takatalo(b.1979) is best known for his travel and process pieces and art actions. Everyday politics and alternative way of living is more or less always the topic of his utopic-documentative art. Takatalo is the founder of a artistic city research unit Centre of Urban Expeditions and he has been working on The Floating residence project in Lithuania and Germany.
Teemu Takatalo has had few solo exhibitions and he´s been participating in several joint exhibitions and video art screenings in Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Belgium and Germany.
